A Pay-What-You-Can Evening of Art-Making, Connection, and Creative Expression

Together, let’s create…

🎨 a space where there’s no wrong way to make art.

🎨 a space where we can feel safe to show up as we are.

🎨 a space where we can build community and support.

🎨 a space where art and community help us cope & thrive.

Sunday, May 4th | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Pop in any time during the event window—stay for a bit or hang out the whole time.

Join us for a cozy, come-as-you-are evening hosted by local artist and therapeutic art guide, Mx. Kay—formerly known to many as Meg, Ms. K, or your favorite art teacher. Whether you remember them from the classroom or you just vibe with their energy, you're invited to this inclusive art space.

Mx. Kay recently left the classroom to launch their own art-based practice centered around creativity, healing, and accessibility. This community art night is one part art class, one part creative playdate, and one part gentle group therapy—with room for all kinds of humans, all kinds of brains, and all kinds of expression.

Who this event is for:
Kids, teens, grownups. Neurodivergent folks. LGBTQIA+ community members. Past students. Curious souls. Anyone who feels better with a paintbrush in their hand and a little space to be their full self.

What to expect:
🖌️ Open-ended art-making
🧠 Gentle conversation + self-reflection
💛 Sliding scale pricing (pay what you can)
✂️ All supplies provided

The cost:
🖌️ There is a suggested donation of $5, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.

Let’s make art, reconnect, and build something beautiful together.

Walk-ins and pop-bys are welcome, but a headcount helps us plan supplies and snacks.
